Living W.E.L.L. SKILLS CENTER
Wellness ~ Education ~ Life Skills ~ Learning
The Living W.E.L.L. Skills Center is an Occupational Therapy program designed for ages 14 to 25 and offers independent living skills training, pre-employment competencies, and life skill support through therapeutic measures. We are dedicated to workforce development by offering work opportunities, paid internships and on-the-job customer service experiences. This training offers our clients support and training, particularly for individuals with disabilities and/or disenfranchised communities. Our clients develop essential skills, gain valuable work experience, and become viable contributors to our community. In addition to preparation for living independent lives as well as possible, clients acquire essential tools and soft skills to prepare for community living and employment, such as improved self-esteem, development of interpersonal and social skills, learning interviewing skills, conflict resolution, and delivery of outstanding customer service through therapeutic practices and modalities. The Living W.E.L.L. Skills Center goes hand-in-hand with the Water Store, as it provides a real-life training ground for our clients. This program accepts most insurance or sponsorship.
